Clean energy industry faces threatening cuts

Radio 2SER Sydney interviews Professor Samantha Hepburn.

Last week, the Prime Minister publicly announced the government's decision to cut funding to small scale solar power projects and to wind farms. In contrast, the Government wants new and emerging industries to receive greater funding.

Radio 2SER Sydney spoke to Professor Samantha Hepburn, Research Director at Deakin Law School.  The interview commenced by asking what the implications of the government decision could be on the developing industry of clean energy in Australia.
