Do you want to gain practical experience with international exposure? Exploring a real world problem in an international organisation could set you apart.
Malaysia is a powerful economy in Southeast Asia and the island state of Penang is one of the most developed and economically important states in the country.
The Malaysia Team Internship in Penang is an internship opportunity for both postgraduate and undergraduate students of all disciplines.
Students work in multidisciplinary teams of four to think up real world solutions to a business problem provided to them by their Malaysian organisation. Each project has been designed by Deakin academic staff to provide sound academic content together with deep engagement between Deakin students, their industry professional and community leaders.
Deakin students will work closely with their hosts on all of their assigned projects. All components have been structured so that the students gain an increased understanding of their host country’s environmental and business cultures.
Participation in this program will also be recognised by Deakin’s Global Citizenship Program; a program designed to recognise the academic, professional and personal benefits of global experiences and to help communicate these benefits to employers.
