Deakin Law School is pleased to invite you to hear from one of Britain’s leading discrimination law scholars, Associate Professor Tarunabh Khaitan (Oxford University).
Assoc. Prof. Khaitan will be discussing his new book, A Theory of Discrimination Law (2015, Oxford University Press). A panel of Australian discrimination law scholars, including Professor Beth Gaze (Melbourne Law School), Dr Colin Campbell (Monash University), Dr Alysia Blackham (Melbourne Law School) and Dr Dominique Allen (Deakin Law School), will provide a response.
Speaker Biography
Assoc. Prof. Khaitan is the Hackney Fellow in Law at Wadham College, Oxford University and an Associate of the Oxford Human Rights Hub. He completed his undergraduate studies (BA/LLB (Hons)) at the National Law School (Bangalore) between 1999-2004 and then moved to Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar to completed his postgraduate studies (BCL with distinction, MPhil with distinction, DPhil) at Exeter College.
